I released my first public app, Progress, in the software Stone Age—1995—through the Great Canadian Software Factory. In 2001, I released BigBlogTool, part of the first generation of blogging platforms. It helped shape an era of publishing software, with ideas like multiple blogs per page and remote template editing that now feel ordinary. In 2007, I helped develop an early online meal planner for EatingWell. I’ve been building web, back-end, and private commercial software ever since.
