Mossbed Desktop is the native interface for capturing and enriching knowledge within the Mossbed ecosystem. It communicates with mossbed-core over gRPC and replaces the CLI by offering a keyboard-first macOS experience with AI-assisted metadata extraction, command palette control, and full recall tooling.
It’s built for local-first knowledge workers who need composable, non-linear capture systems — where thought fragments become structured entries, enriched on the fly, and stored with context-aware precision.
Eventually, it will support AI-powered workflows for synthesis, export, and project memory continuity.
